The Spanish Federation of food banks organized a charity run for June 14 at the bullring in Parla, at which the famous bullfighter EL CORDOBÉS will fight, in a disinterested way, six bulls donated by various cattle farms. The income obtained will be used to buy children’s food in order to support child nutrition, at the expressed wish of the bullfighter, who, in the past year, reached the homes of 1,647,000 people and donated to 8,940 non-profit charitable organizations and soup kitchens over 142,000 tons of food, a figure that they expect to increase significantly this year.
